The sports world has it backwards. Instead of starting at night, games should be contested early in the day. Coverage of the first game each day in The World Cup - thanks obviously to the time change between the United States and South Africa - begins at 7:00am EST. It’s a great way to start the day, a way to get focused and energized for whatever challenges lie ahead (as opposed to having the anticipation of a game later in the day makes it impossible to focus on your tasks throughout the day). And, of course, early morning starts make it possible for me to watch the games with my kids. Take note major sports leagues.
